The Tar Topper™ OPT is designed to give a modern OPTIMA Group 34 battery the correct vintage appearance of an original tar top battery while maintaining proper fit and function.

The Tar Topper™ OPT matches the overall dimensions of an original Group 24 battery, making it ideal for classic applications originally equipped with that size. The kit includes a three-sided side panel set that installs beneath the battery’s upper ledge, effectively disguising the modern battery while allowing adequate ventilation.

Compatible with deep cycle, Ford, and marine OPTIMA Group 34 batteries, the Tar Topper™ OPT provides a clean, period-correct look suited for restorations and show-quality engine bays.

No tools are required for installation. Each kit includes three molded side panels and the Tar Topper™ cover to ensure proper fit and alignment.
