The Tar Topper™ OPT-6 is a purpose-built, multi-piece kit designed to give a modern Optima 6-volt battery the authentic appearance of a vintage tar top battery.

The kit features formed side panels that wrap around three sides of the battery, with a foam insert used on the remaining side to complete the installation. When installed, the Tar Topper™ OPT-6 provides a clean, period-correct look ideal for classic restorations and show-quality engine bays.

No tools are required for installation. Each kit includes molded side panels, a foam insert that also serves as the internal spacer, replica fill caps, and the Tar Topper™ cover to ensure proper fit and alignment.
